The HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ Core combines highest performance with maximum compatibility. This is a GPU-only water block, ensuring best possible compatibility with reference and unique designs from many different graphics card manufacturers. All this is possible by the long hole mounting mechanism and great clearance.
A special fine cooling structure allows exceptional cooling performance. For contact with the GPU, the powerful cooling plate from the HEATKILLER® CPU Rev.3.0 LC is used. Even though an elaborate cooling geometry is used, the flow resistance of the water block is very low.
Connection threads for fittings are implemented at the side of the graphics card, as on all water blocks from the HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ series. With this design, expansion slots are not blocked by fittings and tubing unnecessarily. Threads on both sides of the water block create numerous options for integration into the cooling loop. Spacing between the threads is 25mm.
If no full-cover water block from the HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ series is available for your graphics card, the HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ Core is the first choice for integration of your graphics card into the cooling loop. Only the GPU is cooled. For voltage regulators as well as RAM modules, optionally available heat sinks may be required. These heat sinks are not included with the water block. RAM heat sinks with a height of up to 6mm can be used.
When rarely fully utilizing the graphics card, and being able to live with the temperature on the voltage regulators (it must of course always be ensured to stay within the specifications of the individual components), the HEATKILLER® GPU-X³ Core cam also be considered as an alternative to classical full-cover water blocks.
Highly pure electrolytic copper is used as material for the cooling plate. Both top plate and connector block are made from black POM.
